I recently started painting with oil pastels to get a change from working on the computer. The first picture was created during a long phone call, when I started painting out of boredom. I quickly took a liking to painting with oil pastels. I am a somewhat impatient person, so this quick painting method is just right for me. It helps me to lose myself in thought, distract myself and express myself.
My painting technique is expressive. I don’t think for long, just paint away. All my works have been painted with broad strokes and a single-colour background. The white frame behind the figures is also characteristic. However, my style has not yet been precisely defined; it will continue to develop and evolve over time.
